WT1 is the UK's leading customer model-scale wind tunnel, based at Silverstone. The ex-F1 facility was used to develop the Brawn GP and Mercedes F1 championship-winning cars, after being built by British American Racing and being home to BAR F1 and Honda Racing F1 Team's aerodynamic development.
WT1 can support a wide range of programmes from Motorsport and Automotive, through to Cycling and Elite Sports, Drones and UAV, through to Green Energy and Wind Turbine development.
For traditional motorsports and high performance automotive, scale models of 40–50% can be accommodated up to 50 m/s.
